About Us
We are a lubricants supplier in Southern California, about twenty miles east of downtown Los Angeles. One building, a small team, and a lot of oil on the shelf.
Calbestsupplies Inc. has been selling since 2017. We are not a warehouse network and we do not have a showroom. What we have is stock on the floor, a phone that a person answers, and the ability to get an order out the door the same afternoon it comes in.
What we carry
Engine oil, diesel and heavy duty, transmission fluid, gear oil, grease, oil filters and shop supplies. Mobil 1, Mobil Delvac, Mobil Super, Chevron, Delo, Shell Rotella and Lucas Oil, in quarts, cases, gallons and pails.
We stock the grades a working shop actually goes through, in the pack sizes that match a real fill. If you need a case of 15W-40 rather than a single quart, that is how we sell it.
Why the product pages read the way they do
Every listing on this site states the approvals the manufacturer publishes — the Cummins, Volvo, Mack, Detroit and Caterpillar specifications, the API and ACEA categories, the pack size and the part number. Not marketing language.
That is deliberate. If you are buying oil for a fleet, the approval list is the only thing that matters, and you should not have to call to find out whether a product meets CES 20086. Where we cannot verify a specification, we say so and tell you to check the container rather than guessing on your behalf.
Getting the right thing
Lubricants are easy to get wrong. Two products can share a viscosity grade and be entirely different oils. A transmission fluid that looks interchangeable often is not. If you are unsure, call before you order and we will confirm the exact grade and approval your equipment needs.
If we tell you the wrong one, send it back opened. We pay shipping both ways and refund in full.
Fleets and shops
If you go through pails, drums or case quantities on a schedule, talk to us once and we will set your pricing. Volume rates, a quote held for 90 days however many times you reorder, and freight arranged for pallet quantities.
