ACDelco dexos D 0W-20 Diesel Motor Oil - 1 Quart, 12-Pack (10-9277 / GM 19370138)

This is the diesel oil. It is not dexos1 Gen 3.
Both are 0W-20 and both say “dexos” on the bottle. They are different GM specifications for different engines. dexos®D is the light-duty diesel specification — the one the 3.0L Duramax inline-six calls for. dexos1 Gen 3 is the gasoline specification. If your truck has a gasoline V8, this is not your oil.

We quote GM rather than paraphrasing because ACDelco does not publish a technical data sheet for this oil. Rather than print viscosity and flash-point figures borrowed from a different brand's dexos®D product, we leave them out. If you need laboratory values for a fleet specification, ask us and we will tell you what we can actually source.

All of these use the 3.0L Duramax inline-six turbo diesel — engine code LM2, or LZ0 from 2023. Both take the same oil and the same PF66 filter. Capacity is 7.0 quarts / 6.6 litres with the filter, per GM.

GM also lists the 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD and 2022 Sierra 1500 Limited against this part. Model-year coverage is taken from GM's own parts catalogue for 19370138. Always check your owner's manual or the oil-fill cap for the specification your engine calls for. GM catalogues three dexos®D 0W-20 part numbers and they get cross-listed as though they were one. This listing is the GM Original Equipment line, 19370138 / 10-9277 — the dealer service part.

All three are 1-quart bottles of dexos®D 0W-20 and all three are GM-licensed. GM publishes no formulation difference between the lines. There is no 5-quart jug and no gallon of this oil — any multi-quart offer you see, including ours, is 1-quart bottles made up into a lot.

Motor oil is a regulated liquid, so we cannot ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico by air. If your address is outside our standard ground service we will contact you before charging anything.

GM packs this oil six to a case and the engine takes seven. We make up lots so you are not ordering a case plus a loose quart.
