It is not a CVT fluid (Honda HCF-2), not the 9-speed fluid (ATF Type 3.1), not the 10-speed fluid (ATF Type 2.0), not a hybrid e-CVT fluid, not a manual-transmission fluid, and not for VTM-4 or rear differentials. Your dipstick, fill cap or owner's manual names the spec. If it does not say DW-1 or Z1, please buy the fluid it does say — or call us at (626) 269-7689 and we will help you find it.
Honda Genuine ATF DW-1 is the automatic transmission fluid Honda and Acura dealers put in conventional (torque-converter) automatics. It took over from ATF-Z1 as the factory fill around 2011 and is backward compatible with every transmission that originally called for Z1 — so it is the right bottle for an older Civic, Accord or Odyssey as well as the newer ones.
This is four sealed 1-quart bottles, Honda part number 08200-9008. Four is the single-service quantity: enough for one drain-and-fill on most Honda and Acura automatics with a little left over to top up after the test drive.
A Honda automatic is normally serviced by drain-and-fill, not by machine flush. Each drain-and-fill only replaces what sits in the pan — on most Honda and Acura cars that is roughly three quarts — so one service changes about a third of the fluid.
Check your owner's manual for the figure that matches your car and the job you are doing. If you tell us the year, model and transmission, we will check it with you before you order.
Honda uses several different fluids and they are not interchangeable. The name on the dipstick or fill cap decides it, not the model year.

If your car calls for something in the lower rows, this is not your fluid. Call us at (626) 269-7689 with the year, model and transmission and we will check before you buy.
Honda does not publish a typical-properties data sheet for DW-1 the way Mobil does for its fluids, so we do not print one here. What we sell is the genuine Honda bottle, part number 08200-9008, sealed.
Transmission fluid is a regulated liquid, so we cannot ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico by air. If your address is outside our standard ground service we will contact you before charging anything.
We split cases so you can buy one complete service in one order, instead of a case plus a couple of loose quarts.
