Mobil describes it as “a supreme performance, synthetic, multi-purpose, SAE 75W-90 automotive gear lubricant.” The LS formula is built for limited-slip as well as open differentials, and Mobil lists it as meeting or exceeding API GL-5.

Where Mobil says to use it
•  Higher-performance vehicles — SUVs, vans and light-duty trucks — requiring API GL-5 performance
•  Initial fill, top-off or refill of differentials, final drives, transfer cases and other gear applications specifying GL-5 or mild EP gear lubricants
Not a transmission oil. Mobil says it is not intended for automatic, manual or semi-automatic transmissions where engine oil or automatic transmission fluid is specified.
75W-90 is not 75W-140. Both are Mobil 1 LS gear oils, but they are different grades. Use the grade your axle or transfer case calls for.

Oil occasionally leaks in transit. Photograph the box before you unpack anything else and email sales@calbestsupplies.com within 5 days of delivery. We replace it or refund it in full, shipping included, and in most cases you do not return anything.
