ExxonMobil recommends it for high-performance turbocharged and supercharged gasoline engines and certain diesel multi-valve fuel-injected engines in passenger cars, SUVs, light vans and trucks. Check your owner's manual for the viscosity grade, API service classification and any builder approval your engine requires.

Both are low-SAPS Mobil 1 ESP oils and both carry the VW and Porsche approvals. The differences are in the cold-start grade and in which Mercedes-Benz and BMW approvals ExxonMobil lists. This page is the ESP 5W-30.

Match the approval, not just the brand. If your owner's manual or service booklet names a specific approval — BMW Longlife-04, MB 229.31, VW 504 00 — check it appears in the list for the oil you are buying. Pick the ESP 0W-30 instead only if that is the grade and approval your car calls for.
Look for “ESP” on the label. The European approvals on this page are published for the Mobil 1 ESP formulation. Do not assume another Mobil 1 bottle in the same viscosity carries them — check its own label or data sheet.

If we tell you the wrong one, send it back opened. We pay shipping both ways and refund in full.

If it arrives damaged

Oil occasionally leaks in transit. Photograph the box before you unpack anything else and email sales@calbestsupplies.com within 5 days of delivery. We replace it or refund it in full, shipping included, and in most cases you do not return anything.
