Mobil 1 Racing™ 0W-30 — Case of 6
6 × 1 Quart  |  MPN 102622  |  Race engines only
This is a competition oil. Mobil does not recommend it for street use.
It lists no API, ILSAC or OEM approvals, and Mobil says its zinc and phosphorus levels “can have an adverse effect on the exhaust emission control systems fitted to street cars.” If your car has a catalytic converter and sees the road, this is not the oil for it.

Mobil 1 Racing 0W-30 full synthetic motor oil, case of six 1-quart bottles
Six quarts of race oil, shipped free.

Mobil 1 Racing™ 0W-30 is the lighter of Mobil’s two racing grades — built to maximise power output by reducing internal friction, with Mobil quoting high-temperature protection above 400 °F (204 °C).

ExxonMobil recommends it “for a wide range of race engine applications,” including “highly loaded flat tappet designs such as NASCAR Cup engines,” and names its users as professional, amateur and weekend racers.

This is a case of six 1-quart bottles, Mobil part number 102622.

Not sure this is your oil? Call us at (626) 378-7212 with the engine, the cam type and what the car actually does — street, strip or road course — before you order.
What Mobil publishes about this product
“Mobil 1 Racing™ 0W-30 and 0W-50 were developed specifically for racing engines and are not recommended for street use.”
“higher levels of additive elements such as Zinc and Phosphorus … can have an adverse effect on the exhaust emission control systems fitted to street cars.”
— Mobil 1 Racing product guide
•  Anti-wear additive levels well beyond ordinary automotive oils — Mobil says the track oils contain double the zinc of regular street oils
•  Nominal 1,850 ppm zinc and 1,750 ppm phosphorus
•  Friction-reducing chemistry to help maximise power output
•  Shear stability to resist breakdown under race conditions
•  Faster flow to critical engine parts at low temperatures than conventional racing oils and higher-viscosity synthetics
•  Not recommended for 2-cycle or aviation engines unless specifically approved by the engine manufacturer

Mobil publishes no API, ILSAC or OEM approvals and no drain interval for its racing oils. Follow your engine builder’s guidance.

Racing 0W-30 and Racing 0W-50 side by side

Same published zinc and phosphorus. The real difference is how thick the oil is once it is hot — and that difference is large.

“Racing” on the label does not make it a race car oil. Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 is a motorcycle oil with JASO MA/MA2 ratings — a different product for a different job. And if what you need is a 0W-30 for a modern street car with a catalytic converter or particulate filter, look at a street oil built for those systems, such as Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30 instead.
