GM’s dexos R is the high-performance specification for engines like the LT2 and LT4. It is a distinct specification — not interchangeable with dexos1 or dexos2. If your owner’s manual or oil-fill cap calls for dexos1 0W-20, this is not your oil.
Mobil 1™ Supercar 0W-40 is a full synthetic motor oil for high-performance cars, built for both everyday driving and track days. ExxonMobil recommends it for GM dexos R applications — naturally aspirated, turbocharged and supercharged gasoline engines.
This is ten 1-quart bottles, made up as one lot. GM lists the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing’s 6.2L LT4 at 9.0 quarts with the filter, so ten covers a full change with a quart to spare. It is also the lot for anyone running a larger-capacity dexos R engine or doing more than one change.
The only approval Mobil lists for Supercar 0W-40 is GM dexos R. It lists no European approvals (Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, VW) — if your car calls for one of those, choose an oil whose data sheet carries that approval.
GM’s published oil-capacity chart lists these engines for dexos R 0W-40. Capacities include the filter. We list only applications we have confirmed in at least two independent published capacity references.

Typical properties are Mobil published values and represent normal production tolerance. They are not a specification.
Motor oil is a regulated liquid, so we cannot ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico by air. If your address is outside our standard ground service we will contact you before charging anything.

Free shipping within the contiguous 48 states, no minimum order. Orders placed before 1:00 PM Pacific on a business day ship the same day; after that, the next business day. Delivery is typically 3 to 7 business days depending on distance, and you get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
We also ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and Canada, where the exact cost is calculated at checkout before you pay. Aerosols travel by ground only and cannot go by air.

If we tell you the wrong one, send it back opened. We pay shipping both ways and refund in full.

Oil occasionally leaks in transit. Photograph the box before you unpack anything else and email sales@calbestsupplies.com within 5 days of delivery. We replace it or refund it in full, shipping included, and in most cases you do not return anything.
