ExxonMobil publishes no other approvals for it. It is not DEXRON-VI, not Ford MERCON LV or ULV, not Toyota WS, and not a CVT or dual-clutch fluid. If your vehicle does not specify DEXRON HP, please buy the fluid it does specify — call us at (626) 378-7212 and we will help you find it.
Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP is a full synthetic automatic transmission fluid. Mobil's data sheet describes it as “recommended for use in modern high performance vehicles requiring DEXRON® HP ATF, DEXRON® license code J-62120,” and states it is “warranty approved for all vehicles specifying DEXRON® HP ATF.”
This is twelve 1-quart bottles, Mobil part number 124715 — two sealed factory cases. Twelve is the count that covers a complete fill on the transmissions this fluid is specified for, with a quart left over.
Fluid volume on a modern automatic depends entirely on what you are doing. A drain-and-fill takes a fraction of what a full exchange does, and the two numbers are often very different on the same transmission.
Here is the number that matters. GM's own specification sheet for the 8L90 eight-speed gives a fluid capacity of 10.3 litres excluding cooler volume — roughly 10.9 US quarts. A six-pack is not close. A nine or ten quart lot leaves you short of a complete fill. Twelve quarts covers it, with a quart in hand for topping off. If you are doing a drain-and-fill rather than a full exchange, the smaller lots are the cheaper buy and we list those too.

Mobil sells several automatic transmission fluids and their specification lists do not overlap. Searching “Mobil 1 ATF” can land you on any of them. Here is what each one is approved or recommended for, in Mobil's own words:

It is also not a CVT fluid and not a dual-clutch (DCT/DSG) fluid. This is for conventional automatic transmissions specifying GM DEXRON HP.

Transmission fluid is a regulated liquid, so we cannot ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico by air. If your address is outside our standard ground service we will contact you before charging anything.

We also ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and Canada, where the exact cost is calculated at checkout before you pay. Aerosols travel by ground only and cannot go by air.
