ExxonMobil describes Mobil Delvac™ 1300 Super 15W-40 as an “advanced, premium synthetic blend, diesel engine oil” for heavy-duty trucking, mining, construction, agriculture and marine service. It meets API CK-4 and carries Cummins, Detroit, Mack, Volvo and Renault Trucks approvals.
Its low ash formulation (0.9 mass% sulfated ash) is aimed at engines with exhaust aftertreatment — in Mobil’s words, “Long emissions aftertreatment life (DPF, DOC and SCR)”. It also meets API SP for gasoline engines, so one oil can cover a mixed yard.
This is a case of four sealed 1-gallon jugs, Mobil part number 122492 — 4 gallons in total. Handy for pickups, tractors and equipment where a pail is more than you want on the shelf.
Mobil lists it for modern low-emission engines with EGR and aftertreatment, older naturally aspirated diesels, on- and off-highway service including severe low-speed/heavy-load work, and gasoline engines that require API SP.
Mobil separates a formal approval from a statement that an oil meets or exceeds the requirements of a specification, and from a recommendation. We reproduce the distinction exactly as they publish it, because the three are not the same thing.

*ExxonMobil bases the multiplier on US engine manufacturers’ average oil drain recommendations and adds: “Consult OEM or ExxonMobil before implementing extended ODIs, especially if the equipment/vehicle is under warranty.” We will not turn that into a mileage figure, because ExxonMobil does not.
This is an API CK-4 oil. A 15W-40 cannot be FA-4 — that category only exists for certain XW-30 grades.

Free shipping within the contiguous 48 states, no minimum order. Orders placed before 1:00 PM Pacific on a business day ship the same day; after that, the next business day. Delivery is typically 3 to 7 business days depending on distance, and you get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
We also ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and Canada, where the exact cost is calculated at checkout before you pay. Aerosols travel by ground only and cannot go by air.

Oil occasionally leaks in transit. Photograph the box before you unpack anything else and email sales@calbestsupplies.com within 5 days of delivery. We replace it or refund it in full, shipping included, and in most cases you do not return anything.
