Couldn't load pickup availability
It fits 1975-1996 Rabbit, Jetta, Golf, Scirocco, Passat and Vanagon, and the Porsche 924. It is not a GM or Jeep filter, even though the 3/4-16 thread lets it screw onto them.
What it is
RK241 crosses to FRAM PH2870A, Purolator L20252 and WIX 51342, the filter on the 1.5 to 2.0L water-cooled VW four-cylinders from the first Rabbit through the Mk3 Golf and Jetta. It has a higher bypass setting than the similar-looking Ford / Chrysler can (RK195).
Confirmed by two filter makers' published specs: Thread 3/4-16 UNF, anti-drainback valve. We leave out any dimension the catalogues disagree on, rather than guess.
